MediaCityUK provides staircase to Tomorrow with three more deals

MediaCityUK’s new creative and tech workspace, Tomorrow, is celebrating the arrival of three new occupiers to the award-winning scheme.

StreamAMG, Fuzzy Duck Creative and ZEAL Creative are all existing MediaCityUK SMEs growing their businesses, and the latest creative and tech companies to sign for space in the state-of-the-art building.

Experiencing rapid expansion since joining MediaCityUK in 2012, online media and video streaming specialist, StreamAMG is taking 2,233 sq ft on the second floor, to accommodate its team of up to 25.

Matt McKiernan, Director of Sport, StreamAMG said: “We are really excited to be moving in to Tomorrow. This is a key milestone in our journey at MediaCityUK and being involved in a connectivity consultation during the building’s design phase means we know the space has the best possible communications facilities for our business to succeed.”

Fuzzy Duck, formerly based in MediaCityUK’s The Greenhouse and the creative agency behind Tomorrow’s virtual reality marketing campaign, will take 2,006 sq ft of space for its team of 16.

Dave Hartill, Creative Director of Fuzzy Duck, said: “In just over two years at MediaCityUK, we’ve been really impressed by the creative and collaborative atmosphere here, and the move to Tomorrow feels like a natural progression from our previous office in The Greenhouse. Our creative work for Tomorrow gave us a real insight into how dynamic and creative the space would be, so it’s great to see the VR become a reality and, in turn, the new home for our agency.”

Integrated marketing agency, ZEAL Creative, formerly based in The Landing at MediaCityUK will take 1,816 sq ft on the second floor of Tomorrow, having more than doubled its workforce in the last 12 months from 11 to 28.

Lynn Haime, Asset Manager at MediaCityUK said: “It’s great to see Tomorrow providing the next stepping stone for our tenants who are ready to progress to more permanent spaces as a result of successful operations in their initial locations at MediaCityUK. Also, we’re getting noticed by new industry creatives and digital entrepreneurs who recognise Tomorrow as the place to be and want to get involved – it’s a very exciting time for us.”

The new deals come as Tomorrow was recently awarded Commercial Workplace of the Year at the British Council for Offices Awards 2017.

Lynn said: “Tomorrow is thriving as our flagship technology and creative hub, and we are delighted to have won this award in conjunction with architects, Chapman Taylor. There’s plenty more in the pipeline, with more new tenants, and pay-per-minute sitting room and co-working space, Ziferblat, which has just opened this month, so we’re look forward to continuing the success.”
